Queen of Swords - Behind the Mask

"Behind the Mask" is sung by Jose Feliciano as the theme song for the TV show Queen of Swords, a fun female-Zorro adventure set in 1817, about 100 years before the Wonder Woman movie. It was all too short-lived at only one season of 22 episodes.

The lyrics are so appropriate for superheroines in general that I wanted to post them along with links to two YouTube versions of the song, some episodes currently available on YouTube, and my latest search results looking for DVDs of the entire series. It has been so long ago since my taste of high-school Spanish that I do not know for sure if there are any mistakes in the Spanish lyrics.

This is my way of honoring the heroines who came before the Wonder Woman movie. They deserve a second chance to have their day in the sun.
