Mask: Eagle-like eyesight

Choker: Enhanced hearing
(It may enhance her resistance to mental domination as well, though Valor's willpower is already incredibly strong. Hint: I don't enjoy role playing as someone else's completely mindless sex toy.)

Armband: Enhanced reflexes of a rattlesnake from the "Don't Tread on Me!" flag
(When this avatar was recreated in Mesh, the armband was removed to allow for longer gloves. This enhanced-reflexes power is now subsumed into her Boots power, simplifying her costume and power set-up.)

Bikini Top: Enhanced stamina and endurance for heart and lungs

Gloves: Enhanced strength

Belt: Wings of an eagle for limited power of flight tuned to her body weight, thus necessitating her skimpy outfit

Panties: Invulnerability for skin, bones, and internal organs

Boots: Enhanced agility and speed of movement

NOTE: In order to fully function, her costume must be completely visible as a display of her American pride, bikini tied with strings to symbolize raising the flag and tying it to the pole, and as she loses parts of her costume, she loses the corresponding powers. The fabric of the bikini was the last bits of cloth left over from Betsy Ross sewing the first American flag, also explaining its skimpiness. It is not yet clear why sexual arousal interferes with her ability to use the costume, though the lack of any obvious technological parts in the costume would suggest the interference is mystically related and not some short-circuiting of a battery or other power source.



Valor Biography/Origin Story

Valorita Espinosa grew up with a passion for patriotism, history, and physical fitness. She wanted to be a history teacher or any profession that allowed her to share her passion for learning and teaching about America's past. She even landed an internship at the National Museum of American History and was working late there one night on a special donation that had arrived strangely addressed to her.

While unpacking the unusual contents of the old chest -- the items which would become her costume -- thieves broke in to steal something, Val not knowing at the time that they were targeting what she had unpacked. Having slipped on the gloves alone to see if they fit, Val was jumped by the oddly professional looking thieves, clad all in black tactical gear. At first barely able to hold her own due to her martial arts training, Val soon found that her strength had been enhanced by the gloves. Defeating the thieves and causing their leader to make his escape rather than face her alone, she eventually donned the whole costume and acquired its powers, still unaware of who had donated it in her name.

Val now fights crime as the patriotic superheroine, Valor. Her powers come from her costume and are described above. What she contributes is her high level of physical fitness and martial arts training, her patriotism, and her spirit to fight for truth, justice, and liberty. She would later discover that physical arousal somehow interferes with the ability of her body to use her costume powers, and that an orgasm would render her body completely unable to make use of her costume until she gradually recovered from the physical drain.

Valor does not know yet if she has fully attuned herself to her costume. Her power level appears to be at least 13 times normal human maximum potential. Perhaps she has the potential to reach 50 times normal human potential in honor of the 50 states, but this has not been achieved yet in her story.
